Erin Rogers was only a teenager in Chantilly, Virginia, when she organized a reunion for her large, Italian family, and her passion for planning events was born. “I loved seeing the happy faces of my relatives as they enjoyed spending time together.”
Not long after, she was one of the first students in Mason’s event planning degree program, and working part-time special event jobs at several Mason venues. Erin became Events Coordinator on the SciTech Campus in 2015, and currently serves as Vice Chair of Mason’s Staff Senate.
Erin draws from professional experience and her knowledge of vendors and event spaces on campus to help clients have an enjoyable and successful event experience.

Dee Arrington

Deliah “Dee” Arrington loves teamwork, having played soccer at Clemson University (1998–2002) and later professionally. In 2019, she was inducted into the Clemson Ring of Honor, the highest accolade a Tiger student-athlete can receive.
At Clemson, Dee earned her BS degree in Aquaculture, Fisheries and Wildlife Biology, and later managed a large-scale fish hatchery for the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, focused on planning and executing daily facility operations at the hatchery.
Dee combines these two loves in her work at as Site Coordinator at the Potomac Science Center, where she manages building operations and helps coordinate events there.

William Smith got his start in the events industry in college as a DJ, serving wedding receptions and other types of private events. Before William joined the Mason events staff in 2017, he built a wide variety of event experience over more than 10 years in both California and North Carolina, including audiovisual professional roles for the University of San Diego’s football program and Rancho Valencia Resort and Spa.
William has professional certificates in audio engineering, audiovisual graphics, and audiovisual programming; an MBA and BSBA from East Carolina University, and is working on an MS in Applied Information Technology at Mason.
