The 134-acre Science and Technology Campus serves more than 4,000 students with innovative facilities specially designed for classrooms, laboratories, libraries, recreation, the arts, and other uses. The campus is home to such facilities as the 300-seat Verizon Auditorium and other spaces available for event rentals.

Life Sciences and Engineering Building
George Mason's Life Sciences and Engineering Building supports the university's growing need for classrooms, support spaces, and highly specialized instructional labs designed for rigorous hands-on learning.
Encompassing 132,000 square feet of space, the building is designed to promote collaboration and engagement among students and faculty. The ground-level engineering labs and student design competition bays open directly onto the campus’ exterior pathways, allowing visibility into the work happening inside.

With university classrooms and more than 30 different laboratory spaces for teaching, design, and fabrication, the building offers state-of-the-art facilities for hands-on training in disciplines including athletic training and kinesiology, microbiology, chemistry, engineering, forensic science, robotics and autonomous vehicles, and more.
The building fosters interdisciplinary connections and promotes collaboration and engagement among students and faculty across many academic units, including the College of Education and Human Development, College of Engineering and Computing and the College of Science.
Senator Charles J. Colgan Hall
Colgan Hall is home to many amenities visitors to SciTech will find useful, such as Mercer Library and Randall's Cafe. The Verizon Auditorium event space is available for rent.

The Institute for Advanced Biomedical Research contains the Institute for Biohealth Innovation, the Center for Applied Proteomics and Molecular Medicine, and the Nanofabrication Facility.

Biomedical Research Laboratory
George Mason University's 52,000 square-foot Biomedical Research Laboratory (BRL) was established in 2010 as one of 12 NIAID-funded regional biocontainment facilities to support infectious disease research and foster collaborations with other national and global laboratories. It operates as a central core facility to advance research and develop novel diagnostics, therapeutics, and vaccines against viral and bacterial infectious agents by a diverse population of internal and external investigators. The facility is capable of housing multiple species and has a variety of established animal models, with an emphasis on aerosolized exposures. The BRL is fully approved and licensed for work by the CDC and USDA and is accredited by the AAALAC.

Beacon Hall
Beacon Hall is home to George Mason's graduate student apartments.
- Accommodations include studio, one-bedroom, and two-bed/two-bath apartments.
- Each apartment is fully furnished with full kitchens including a dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer.
- Rates include all utilities, cable TV, local telephone service, and Internet.
The building is also home to the campus's ID Card Office, retail locations, and conference facilities available for rent.

Freedom Aquatic & Fitness Center
The Freedom Aquatic & Fitness Center provides a broad range of year-round recreational, educational, social and cultural programs and activities. The facility is designed to attract and serve a variety of individuals and groups, including, but not limited to, the general public, youth, school and community groups, the elderly and persons with disabilities. The 110,000 square foot facility features two pools; a whirlpool; family locker rooms; a full gymnasium; cardio, aerobic and strength studios; racquetball courts; and a full range of adult and youth programming, including summer camps.
Full-time George Mason students receive a free membership. Discounted memberships are offered to George Mason faculty, staff, and part-time students.
The Freedom Center also offers rental space for birthday parties and events.
